I
The doubt in the work of Ernesto Benítez presents the extension of the artistic space in relation to the specific mechanisms of exclusion and respect of the discourse instrumented from the constant suspicion of the exercise of knowledge.
Benítez is interested in the critical formulations from the historical fiction of art, thus reporting on the condition of all culture and its conceptions of political and expressive relations of a notion of history condemned to the fiction of its events.
II
The intent of this exhibition concentrates on the free formulation from the confidence of a preceding generation and the creativity inherent to its participation in paradigmatic practices of contemporary Cuban art. The necessary statements are conditioned by a spirituality of human abilities as a constructive proposition of existence.
III
Strategically Benítez instruments an ironic affirmation of the situation of his condition of artisticity as the self-affirmation of artistic pragmatics, as a necessary suspension of the expansive character of a way of making art within society.
