35 glass bottles (one for each anniversary of the Cuban “revolution”) with encrypted messages -asking for help, like a castaway- and drawings that were thrown into the sea from different points along the coast of Havana.
Clandestine performance carried out during the Raft Crisis.
A tribute to Virgilio Piñera, the necessary decipherer, this clandestine action was carried out in different locations (beaches, the Malecón and different points in the coast of Havana) during the period internationally known as the Balseros Crisis.
